The purchased puppy is defined here to be a purebred Dachshund puppy that is in good health at the time of sale, and embodies the characteristics of the Dachshund breed. The parents of this PUPPY have no history of congenital or back problems.  The BREEDER does not assume any liability for any injury to said puppy after purchase. 

The BUYER agrees to have this puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery at the BUYERS expense.  If the BUYER’S veterinarian finds a genetic life threatening disease, a written statement from a licensed veterinarian must be supplied with the immediate return of the puppy to the BREEDER with the understanding of a vet check by Crescent Moon Kennels veterinarian - if confirmed the BREEDER will replace said puppy with another puppy of equal value when available. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the BUYER. Said Puppy is guaranteed against genetic defects that are inherited and a life threatening for  up to (1) one year, excluding aleopecia.  

Absolutely no refunds- Including Deposits. No guarantee is made as to disposition, conformation, or breeding ability. It is impossible to accurately determine the EXACT adult size of any puppy sold; therefore, we cannot give any size guarantee. Size estimate is based on the size of the parents. All appropriate shots for the PUPPY'S age have been given, and a record of this vaccination history is supplied.  Please realize that your puppy should not be taken to public places (other than the vets) until they have completed their complete series of shots.  Guarantee does not cover viral or bacterial infections found after the puppy has left our premise as they can easily be contracted from anywhere.  Please do not take your new puppy to the local pet store, the park or any other place where the pup could be exposed to other animals.  Even when you take your new pup to the vets office do not place the pup on the community weigh station or on the floor.  Some illnesses are short term and more of a nuisance, but there are illnesses your dog could contract that are life threatening.  Dogs may also develop allergies which is out of the control of the BREEDER.  Should your  puppy/dog show signs of allergies please seek the help of your veterinarian to determine what is the cause so you can avoid these things for you puppy/dog.  

The BUYER agrees to maintain the puppy's health in good condition, and to provide yearly examinations, vaccinations, heartworm test, and any other usual procedures necessary to assure good health. The BREEDER has done everything possible to produce healthy sound puppies both by breeding only dogs free from congenital & back problems and by raising the puppies in the best way possible in regards to diet, exercise, and socialization. There are many factors that can influence growth and developments, such as diet, exercise, weight gain, etc. The BUYER assumes the responsibility to carry on with the appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule, as supplied by the BREEDER. The BREEDER can offer no further guarantees once the care of the puppy is no longer under their control.

The BREEDER neither makes nor implies any warranties or guarantees, express or implied, other than those written in the agreement. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Breeder and Buyer with respect to this sale. The Buyer's signature below indicates that he/she has read, agrees and does understand all the conditions of the Sales Agreement and Contract of Sale.

If at any time the Buyer decides to surrender this puppy for any reason the Buyer must contact the Breeder as Breeder has first option to take the puppy back at no charge.   I have read, understand, and agree to these terms and limitations. I consider this to be a legally binding Document.
